Noob time

Ok time for the dumb noob question since I don't see an answer already and everyone seems to find it obvious, but I cant find Scarby... I swear Ive searched every nook and cranny of this station,

But I'm clearly blind please help.

Hmm, has been ages that I played through the prologue, but there are 3 stations in the Achmedius system. He's either in Hurzog Mining, or Halamis Ore station, can't remeber exactly.
However, the quest should give a marker to which station you have to go.

edit: just checked my old logs, his name is Scarby Hurzog, so he's in Hurzog mining station.

Yes however I cant physically locate him on said station

And after doing a few missions on archimedes 8 hes suddenly here in plain view right as i get off the ship... SMH

Scarby is on Halamis Mining orbital station. the level is not large, jsut follow the single hallway and you will find him.

Also, press "L" to load up the quest/log screen, look in upper right for button/tab "Missions" and review.

Also, fighting ships in Archimedus sector will quickly allow you to loot an FTL drive from a ship combat kill. In case you really are a newbie, if doing ship combats, make sure you set your power levels in the blue and green bars. Little bit Green, and full 100% on shields.

You are probably mixing Scarby with Phestus, who sell's the FTL drive.
Scarby Hurzog ---> Hurzog Mining Station, quest giver for Slice mines.
Phestus ---> Halamis Ore Station, seller of first FTL drive.
