Heavy Weapons build
So i need str for it, any clue about how much of it the higher tier weapons will demand?

none at least for now, regardless info about str using heavy weapons do not need any number of it (i believe it will be implemented in the future, but for now proper amount of weapon skill is the only requirement)
Anyway, high strength benefits melee and unarmed (pugilism) skill only.

I would hope it would also impact encumbrance. If there is not a per weapon STR requirement, I would expect the limitation to be in how much the weapon and ammo weight collectively.

In other tactical games I would make my heavies also train in medicine to be off healers in a pinch. Carrying extra supplies in addition to ammo.

sorry to said that but i dont' think that will be possible, for now team members share same inventory and ammo deposit, so it would look quite strange see weight limitation in there.
I agreen that classic inventory&equipment is much more realistic and gives possibility to implement encumberance and other inventory related issues but in current version of ST it would require completely overhaul inventory&itemization.
But adding minimum stat requirements for weapons is very possible and imho much more better that minimum skill requirement

Hell yeah, a gramma cant carry a minigun, still, can be very skilled in fixed heavy weapons...

Shared inventory doesn't mean you can't have a weight limit. You just use the sum of the teams stats and assume they handle the micro of who is carrying what, and toss it to each other as needed.
