filling the empty flask

i'm having an impossible time getting my empty flask filled. anyone else ever experience this?

any idea what it might be? i feel like i have gone over everything 100's of times

What have you tried to do with the flask? The place you find it has this sort of crane on it, you need to attach the flask to the hook in the device and then crank the wheel twice to lower and lift the flask to the water and back up. Look for the hook in the device and use the flask on it, the hook is located in the upper part of the device, a bit right from the mid point if I remember correctly.

thanks a bunch for taking the time to respond! i have been trting to put the empty flask on the hook but nothing ever happens. is there another task i have missed? i really just don't know. it's frustrating to get this far and be stuck for weeks.

I don't think that it is dependable on other objects or tasks. I did this almost as the first thing after I got into their village and had no problem completing it. Have you checked on google search if the problem has occured with other players also?

Might be some anomality that doesn't somehow occur on other people. Google was not very informing on the problem, but I found something, this is one example http://www.neoseeker.com/forums/7171/t409925-flask-problem-in-youkol-village-syberia-2/

It seems that the hook may not be in the right position at the moment. Try cranking the wheel once or twice and hooking up the flask after that. Also it seems that on some computers/monitors the rope holding the hook is somewhat hard to spot when in up position, so you might need to hover around the screen looking for the right spot for the flask.

Haven't played TP yet, I hear it's good so maybe one day I'll have time for that. Thanks for the offer though :) Syberia 3 is coming out this year, I think that will be my next big thing that takes up all my spare time for a long time forward :D

That must have been a hard time ;-)
But more frustrating - for me - was the necessity to go 3-4 times to fill the bottle - I poured the water into the wrong hole or put the cork in the wrong one... And she runs so slow ;-)
