Way too high FPS (1000) is it bad for hardware?
As title says, this game runs for me on 1000 FPS, i can't limit it to 60 with panel. Any advise, is it bad for PC?

It's not necessarily bad for your system. But it's causing your hardware to work harder then it needs to, producing more heat, using more power, etc. The thing you should be more worried about is having that high framerate screws up the game. It cuts the dialogue short when you run this game too high.

I had the same problem as well and I couldn't cap the FPS. Normally I can just use AMD's control panel to control a game but for whatever reason it doesn't work with this one. My only option was to download MSI Afterburner and use that to restrict the game. So if you can't control the FPS with your video card's control panel, then that might be your only option as well.

Thanks for the info!
You could use Riva Tuner or Nvidia Inspector to limit the FPS of the game.

This way it only pumps out 60, 120 or 144 respectively.

Glad to be of assistance. :ss13ok:

I prefer Riva Tuner for FPS locks as it works with both Nvidia and AMD cards. and Nvidia Inspector's FPS limiter adds to the input lag.

I also Use Nvidia Inspector to perfrom more than the Nvidia Control Panel can dream of, including custom SSAO, MSAA, SLI settings, etc (I have GTX1080), So I use both RivaTuner and Nvidia Inspector together.

but I always leave the fps limiting to RivaTuner, and throw D3DOverrider in the mix to get tripple buffering and Vsync with D3D, as Nvidia's driver level Tripple Buffering only works on OpenGL.

I have a 120Hz monitor so I normally run a 120FPS limit, however some games go into hyper drive if the FPS Cap is above 60 so I limit those games to 60 only.

Yes I'm looking at YOU Sonic 4 Episode II, when talking about hyperdrive above 60fps!

I haven't yet tested Syberia II as I got it as part of a Humble Bundle and haven't spent much time on it. So I don't know how it performs with different framelimits. Hopefully you can cap it to your refresh rate and have the game run as it should. (60Hz=60FPS, 120Hz=120FPS, etc)
