Syberia

Syberia

What do you call this type of adventure game?
I would love to have more games like this with the point and click style of puzzle solving and movement.
It reminds me of my old Pheonix Wright investigator game from a long time ago, putting certain items together and figuring out what to interact with and in what order.
If anyone knows of a term or a way to seperate this type of game from other adventure games so I can find more like it, I'd really appreciate it!

Syberia is a classic point&click adventure game, the genre was very popular during the first half of the 90s.

Try:
The Longest Journey
Primordia
The Secret of Monkey Island & Monkey Island 2
Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars
Blackwell series

(They're all on Steam)

Here's a website dedicated to the genre:

The game reviews are worth reading.

I just added all of them to my wishlist for future reference. I've been looking for this style of games for a long time.

Of course there is also the sequal Siberia 2.

You could also check out some of the other titles from the same developer.

Still Life + Still Life 2 are on sale here right now:

I got Syberia 1 + 2 and Still Life 1 + 2 in one of those indie bundles sites not so long ago, just have not played them yet.. They do have pretty good Meta Critic scores.

I have Syberia 2, but thank you for the sequels. I snagged them during the summer sale for a few bucks.
Thank you!

Point & Click
Try the Space Quest/Kings Quest series'.. They are great if you can handle the crappy graphics..

Gray Matter is another that I really loved. Great characters, story, and atmosphere. It's not on Steam, but you can download it from Amazon.
