So everyone has problem launching the game ?

Yes, I had issues on Windows 10.

Go to the game folder, right-click game.exe > compatibility > compatible with windows xp service pack 3 + color mode to 8bit, run as administrator = works like a charm. :)

thats why trackmania sunrise (best racin game of all time) cant run on modern pc whatever you do, it will even destroy your computer if you try running it. These game are very old and only run on certain hardware configuration, and we need a 90's pc in order to play

Studio prefer profit over customer support and porting cost business hours, so they just use the legal excuse of not taking responsibility if you dont own the proper hardware, for example when microsoft said "if youre not happy with the xbox one being online only buy the xbox 360" wich got alot of people very mad.

another practice is vaulting, when the old version doesnt run, or that you have new content, just vault the old content and make a new version of the same game.

This solution just helped me!
You need to download DXWnd app, which allows to emulate older DirectX renderers and use the following Settings:

Main tab:
Run in window: on

Video tab:
Limit resolution: 800x600

DirectX tab:
DirectX Version Hook: DirectX 7
Rendered: gdi
Filter: PIX 2x
Full bilinear filter: on (helped to fix glitches, probably caused by DPI resizing)

I had the same issue trying launching the game on Win 10. I used the tip of Cuervo and it worked like a charm next.

I got it to work using the instructions pinned at the top of this community, BUT I also had to set my monitor resolution down to 1920x1080 (and I set DPI to 100% as well)
