Surviving Mars
Games like this?
Specifically, colony sims (EDIT: whether or not related to Mars or outer space) in which you help a population to survive and thrive with organic population growth (families having children) and aging.

All three "Surviving" titles feature a sort of birth and aging, but aside of them there is nothing else that comes to my mind : / Would like to know it me too.

All three "Surviving" titles

Can you clarify?
Surviving Mars, Surviving the Aftermath, Surviving the Abyss (although this last one has clones instead of kids).

Surviving the Abyss (although this last one has clones instead of kids).

Ageless sterile clones? Most games that are vaguely in this genre seem to feature a population of ageless sterile people.

...minus the family thing

Ageless sterile people again?

I think what I like most about Surviving Mars is its simulation of population demographics.
Surviving the Abyss' clones are not ageless, quite the opposite, they die pretty soon to keep up the need to "produce" more of ^^' But there is no mechanic about raising them as kids, one just assign them to a workplace and that is. I feel it is vaguely into horror too : D

The feature you like most of Surviving Mars is more unique than rare, unfortunately as I like it me too after playing it ^^'

You were warn about it, why complaint?
Maybe the Sims is all you want.
@OrangeBox - they probably want to know how colonists work in Per Aspera, nothing else.

@ExMachina - from above reply I guess the answer is "Yes, never aging and no kids." and it is probably because it features a shorter time scale where tens of years are enough, not hundreds like in Surviving Mars. I reserve the right to be wrong anyway ; )

Thank you for the additional information
^ Spot on indeed, shame you had to go back until 2014 for it : D
It is also impressive how close to Surviving the Aftermath it is : /
^ dangerously addictive ^^' I don't remember about babies but I also don't remember about external beavers coming, so it must be "with" babies, right?

Nice timing, https://store.steampowered.com/category/strategy_cities_settlements/ : D

Thanks for the heads up!

Does anyone have any experiences they can share regarding the games on this list? Which ones have organic population growth and aging?
