Cube Countdown not going away

Finished the secret The Power of Three mystery and one of the steps it to wait out a countdown. After that the countdown notification doesn't go away. I'm currently at -100 hours and counting!

Right clicking on the notice does not get rid of it.

I actually have that as well. I just ignore it now, but I think it is at -3,600 hours or something like that.

I've actually given the devs (actually the devs not the bug forum) the exact point in their source code where the on screen notices fail to get updated and removed plus a fix.
I did that today, so probably will not be in the monday update.
While I could mod that out, its deep in the overall notification system. I'd be re-writing too much key source code that could get borked if they make a change.
That said they have been very responsive to taking my code fixes and making adjustments. At least in the beta.

Funny you said that.
My test colony I am working on in the beta and using to update my mods is a heavy coldwave and spheres map.
I just recently gave them a bunch of bug fixes with coldwaves.

I hope they would eventually look into incorporating yours and Choggi's mods that have the word "Fix" in them so I can play the game without the mods and there's less mods for you guys to update each patch cycle.
