Map database at this point?
I'm finding some cool maps online, but they're sadly outdated and no longer work... Everything seems either outdated, or just a spreadsheet that doesn't really help me. I'd much prefer an actual map, with coords, that's been scanned.
I find the worst part of this game to be starting, where you essentially just pick a random planet and location, and hope for the best. Realistically, you need certain things in order for a location to be even viable. I spend way too long trying different maps, and scanning everything on the map, in order to find a good spot to land.

Is there a place I can find maps like this for the DLCs installed?

Not exactly "maps" but without to use mods there is a viable way, Choggi made some nice datamining available to everyone (I'm using it myself) : )

This[github.com] is the link to .csv files (open it with any spreadsheet application) and choose the one matching your DLC (Green Planet, Below & Beyond, both). Can read more on the page itself.

This[github.com] other link is about maps' layout. Each coordinate uses one of these basic models, you can find it in the .csv first, and then check how it should look here.

Enjoy ; )

Thanks, I did see those, and it's not too helpful. A spreadsheet saying the stats is pretty cool, but I need to find a good start location in terms of nodes. I just plugged away at good coords, spamming orbital probes to reveal everything, until I found this. It's pretty much perfect for an easy start location. You have access to everything you need within a single drone hub range.

Was thinking you maybe were interested in something like that, but I don't think anyone ever have made a catalogue with all 50,901 locations ^^' Of the four flat maps it is maybe the most interesting, with deposits a bit more clustered together. Some nice breakthroughs ; )

You can use game rules and send a preliminary expedition to full scan it in half Sol, even with Explorers to check anomalies and breakthroughs if willing, then start over with the real run. Or if you prefer, call another rocket (or pods) with the needed probes and surface scan it. I was doing collages of screenshots me too in the beginning ^^'

Beware that some game rules may affect the map making it a bit "different" next time.
little late to thge party here but im looking for something similar cause i just want a map with a couple science/villa(?) nodes close enough to be able to get like 2+ on a dome. as in 2 of a kind. i find a couple maps where i could do it but its a cross map problem. Two semi decent locations ive found are (2N 119E) and (2N 115E) i usually look for the maps with max resources (though water not that important to me since you can basically make it...)
