The game doesnt seem to have any indicator as to the total you have earned over time.
Sounds like a mod opportunity to add that variable to the hud under the current dollars amount.
If you have a console mod loaded you can check your progress by examining the variable ...
FundingGenerated, which is always zero unless you play Blue Sun.
Btw do you use tourism? I found this very annoying - having specialized dome just for tourists but they tyend to die on starvation as there are no service - and I noted exceeding population like childerns ends there too which is death sentence... I dont have experience with it but it seems tourism maybe did me more bad than good. oh and corporate office was deathtrap too - it produce almsot nothing for that large amount of employees:(
So rockets were constantly shipping rare earths back and bringing colonists and goods in non-stop. I even bought more rockets, I think I needed five to keep up with shipping needs and running planetary missions.
Noticing your edit, as I said I found the corporate offices useful. Put them on heavy workload, and each one fully staffed generates about 90 million a Sol. With 20 running that's a bit less that 2 billion income a Sol. It definitely added up.
Well at elast one good thing came form this gamethrough and that is usage of triboelectric scrubbers -those stuff is golden, just fill its area with alrge wind turbines and it has all advantages of Stirling for fracture of cost...
PS: just realized timer on Elevator is reseted if you buy anything... stupid me, i could probably get it as I ahd some 160 metals stored... shame I dont ahve any prior save:/
was mining like crazy and covered all mines on map - jsut dome with basic needs, arcology, farm and some housing to have about 50 pop. Usually had only single mine by deposit but pamicked a bit and started multiple them and turn on night shift and other boosts in alst 20 sols... By the end (sol 94) I produced 174 rare metals per sol and triggered space elevator at least twice per day... crazy.
Was only surprised how low was the other income overall as the export was roughly 87B.
