need to remove incompatible mods from mod manager

ok ... so i've unsubscribed from all workshop mods through steam but it is still showing 20 of them in my mod manager ... is there a specific folder i need to delete to get rid of them? i've even done a complete uninstall/reinstall and they just keep coming back ... these are extremely old mods from years ago now that have either been abandoned or replaced and i cant seem to get rid of them ... theres no "delete" option that i can find ... any ideas? i just got all the expansions and want to make sure that i'm starting from a totally clean slate before i use any more workshop content

/SteamLibrary/steamapps/workshop/content/{game id}/{mod ids}

That's where the downloaded mods live. You probably need to delete those. Surviving Mars' game id should be 464920. You can use the workshop urls on Steam to make sure, and to see the ids for mods, but you probably just want to delete everything there.

firstly thanks for replying ... i did in fact try that ... but they still appear in my mods list ... there must be another file somewhere thats keeping track of these mods ... they havent worked for at least a year ... probably more as they were mods i installed back when i first got the game ... they haven't worked or been updated since then so i figured unsubscribing in workshop would get rid of them, it didn't , then my partner found that folder number and i deleted it and uninstalled, reinstalled, and even though that folder is empty there is 20 mods still somewhere in the game files that whilst not enabled ... consistently show up in the list as "incompatible mods"... if i have to live with it i will but it makes my mod list very messy and confusing

Did you also go into the Paradox Mod Manager within the game and disable them?

ive attempted to but i dont get any options for them ... here's a screenshot ... the functional workshop mods ive installed are obvious as they can be enabled and disabled ... the other dont show up with any options and dont have the steam symbol beside them ... even though they were all dloaded from the workshop originally ... https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2100570670

Did you also check /Users/{username}/AppData/Roaming/Surviving Mars/Mods for anything there?
