Global Achievements

Achievement does not work - No Pain, No Gain Play as Russia and have 500 colonists on challenge rating 500% or higher .
Playing as Russia, have over 1k colonist now. Challenge difficulty +520% - No achievement. Nada.

Has anybody got this one?

Might be one of the Space Race Achivements. Steam kind of just bunches all achivements up together.

Yeah you need the DLC for the new achievements (even if you can achieve without it...).

So i have just played 200 sols for nothing then, getting those 500 people on mars :-/
DAMN MAN.

If i buy the expansion, could i then load my game and get the achievement?

A save from pre-dlc game will NOT reward DLC achievements... The savegame is "flagged" as non-dlc. Tested it myself.

Done the same thing, played three times with the same nation to get those... But you can have a different experience using mods, just a tip. Enjoy your run again with some extra flavors.

I am okay with the dlc.
But i just feel i have wasted my time with this gameplay if i did not get that achievement :-D
Because i wanted to start a new one after this anyway :-)

But it should work then!

Yeah there was 8 or so of them added with the DLC. Kinda annoying because I already had all the achivements previously.

Saving this one last because it ill be alot more fun than the others because it aint a 100 sol race.

Did you get those 500 colonist at 500% difficulty BEFORE sol 100? (That is why it's called No Pain, No Gain)

That is NOT what the achievement is. Russia and SpaceY are the only two that are NOT before Sol 100. Of course I already said this once and you ignored it.....

You also ignored the fact it was pointed out it was a DLC achievement, and the OP did not have the DLC.

As bored peon writes. I can confirm that it is NOT before sol 100. Just when ever. The only thing russia have before sol 100 is to extract 10.000 units from deposits before sol 100

Which i did with ease as well.
The pain with this achievement was "only" the difficulty. But in the end i did it :-)

Actually the 500% difficulty was kinda easy to reach.

Inflation
Armageddon
Hunger
Marsgate Mystery

The pain is now finding a decent map. I was doing pretty good until I finished scanning my part of the plateau. One metal vein and one rare metal. Of course I wasted half the metal vein with the RC driller (which dont think I will ever take again at the start.)
