How do i repair my buildings?

Allot of my buildings are in need of repairs How do I repair them? I press the repair button on the drones but nothing happens.

They only repair if you have a few things:
1) Enough resources to fix the issue.
2) Enough drones to field the needs of your colony.

My first advice would be to check the building to see what resource it takes to be maintained. Then look to see if you have enough of that resource. If you do have enough resourses, and you still aren't getting repairs, it could be that your drones are over-workd and unable to allocate enough time to get to said repair. There are two ways to address this.
1) Buy/build more drones.
2) Increase the priority of the building long enough to get it repaired. (This option is a bandaid though, you still either have a drone issue or resource issue.)

NOTE: Pressing Repair on the drone repairs the drone. It does not make the drone repair buildings. For that you need to push the Repair button on he building. However, this is automated and is only really needed as preventative maintenance.

I have enough materials and many idle drones.

Are the materials and drones in the right place to repair the buildings? The drone hub needs to have materials and the building needing repair in range.

Yes they are. All of my drone hubs overlap eachother so drones can pass through

Drones dont pass anywhere, they cant leave their hub area. Perhaps you worded it poorly, but the statement indicates you might not understand the problem. I suggest you load up an RC transport and deliver materials right to the repair area, see if that solves your issue.

Seems to me there is sometimes a bug.
I had to stop one of my savegames, because drones started to ignore repairs.
I had a Poly-Factory sitting around that stopped working because it was defect.
The Button for a Repaircall was greyed out. Text says that a Drone is already underway.
But no, there was no drone. I watched that Factory a long time an no Drone showed up.
But all around there were Drones sitting idle. And i had plenty of Machine Parts lying around.
So i builded a Dronehub right next to the Factory. And a Storage for Machine Parts, right next to the Factory. I Set the Range for the Drone Hub down to only affect the Storage Area and the Factory. So the only Job for those Drones would have to be, take those Machine Parts and repair that Factory! But no. They are sitting idle around. Doing nothing.
Eventually i had to destroy this Factory and build a new one.

Where is this "Repair Call" button you folks are talking about? I all kinds of don't see anything even remotely resembling that anywhere.

It got removed at some point, thats the thing about reviving old threads sometimes the info is out of date.

Besides you can usually select a drone and right click a building that needs repair if a drone hasn't already been assigned.
