Sending rockets back to earth?
Is it worth sending rockets back to earth in the beginning?
I´ve got 4 more rockets on earth.
So is it worth fueling them and send them back?
Or should I just scrap them to use the resources?

Send them back. They are expensive to purchase, and the tech to build them is far down the tree. You'll end up using them all for expansion, exporting rares to Earth, and trade with rival colonies if you have Space Race.

I've never scrapped a rocket.

I have scrapped rockets only on challenge maps, since they give you a nice 30 metals and 8 electronics, but if you have 5 rockets you have picked all the easiest settings, so nothing matters, do what you want. Scrap 3 of them.

There is no reason to send back right away and you will also need fuel for shuttles down the line. As mentioned you are playing on the easiest setting which is a good place to start IMO :D. But other games with other sponsors have varying number of rockets. I just finished an achievement that had only ONE rocket so I definitely needed to make that fuel and send it back in order to get colonists.

It is very unlikely that you will run out of money or resources in the easiest version plan of the game, so just explore and try to figure out how things works. I never even THOUGHT about scrapping for resources. Happily I have never had the need or been that disparate :D.

But something to think about in a challenge or achievement .

Have fun.

One time I scrapped a rocket was on "baby steps" which I completed in 6 sols. On that mission you get 2 starting rockets, and there's not enough time to send both back and use the 24 extra colonists. What does help however is the 30 metals which for me meant I could land in a location that didn't have any surface metals. It also meant I could save some money on electronics which I need for the gaming store, the best building for bumping comfort quickly.
