(FIXED) Game Crash black cube storage after Space Race update

The game crash if i try to place a storage for the black cubes. Yesterday before i updated to space race it worked without any problems.

Happens consistently.
I open the last autosave.
I build a Cube Depot.
Immediate "Surviving Mars has stopped working" from the OS

Same here on Macbook pro OSX 10.13.6. Putting down the cube depot is in fact the only time the game crashes. But it does it consistently. At least the bug is cross-platform, that should help. I have noticed quite the number of tiles stuffed with cubes, so would be nice to get rid of the cubes honestly.

Tried restarting from an earlier savegame, and running the game forward until cubes appear.

On Day 249, once the entire Cube storyline is complete, I tried building a cube depot. It did not crash.
Tried building a second Cube depot. SM crashed

Got same crash, it's my first cube appearance so my experience is ruined a little. :(

Hopefully they'll come up with a fix for the bug soon. As a first time player it is very disappointing to still see game breaking bugs when it's been out for awhile. I love the game but what's the point of the storyline if it crashes the game? haha

It's been over a month and it's another Steam Sale but there is still no fix? Well, I'll keep waiting before buying.
