What is an uplink

I will build a drone hube expansion, but there is a warning "Drone hub expansion istn connected with an uplink".
I cant finf out what an uplink is.
Can someone help me?

To build anything you must build within range of a Drone Hub. If you want to build outside the range of existing Drone Hubs you need to use an RC Commander.

i placed the expancion next to my normal drone hub, but not working. Some people say "click on the drone hub to connect", but there is no button to connect.

OK, then ignore me because I don't even know what a Drone Hub Expansion is. :)

Nooo, you need to place it far from the Drone Hub so that it will actually extend its range all the way to the new radius you can see when placing the extender. Then you click on the Extender and right cick on the Hub whose range you want it to extend.

IMO don't waste your time with these they are useless. just build more drone hubs they do exactly the same thing

An uplink is a connection from the extension hub to the main hub.
If you build a Drone Hub Extender and overlap its zone just on top of the mother Hub, you can then go into the Extender, click uplink and then clickc the mother hub.
Once connected the two share the Drones as if they were one Hub and the drones work in the two zones.
