DLC won't work

Bought the new below & beyond DLC,and no matter what I do I can't get it to work.Did a complete uninstall and deleted the old save as far as I can tell,but still won't work,when I go to play it shows surviving mars below & beyond but all content is missing.any help would be appreciated:)

Over at Port Royale 4 (Kalypso Media Digital) they had extreme problems to get their DLC to show up , and the fix they proposed only worked momentarily and further more then it appeared as sometimes people got a problem starting another game that they at least had to verify files on.

So while I can refer the solution they told people to do then it has to be solely on your own responsibility if you want to try it
(AND I of course can *not* guarantee that this will help in your case anyway !!!)
:

1) From your Steam Client, open the Settings panel by selecting "Steam > Settings" from the top left client menu.

2) In the Settings panel, select the Downloads tab and you'll find the "Clear Download Cache" button at the bottom.

3) Then select "OK" to confirm and acknowledge that you'll need to login to Steam again.

4) The DLC should be active now.

P.S.
Ultimately it were found out that their developers had a problem with the way they programmed the DLC upload or whatever and they couldn't even fix it themselves and had to ask Steam for help fixing the code so that the above fix would stick for those that still had problems..

i have the same problem. I launched the game after the update release and i see the new amphitheater but i don't see the new tech tree or anything indicating i have the new DLC.

If you can not get the DLC to work then you ought to report it , and apparently Paradox can not be bothered to let you use Steam forum for bug reports , not when they want to further the use of their own forum :
