So after 7 failed colonies and 5 wasted days i decided to start up a new one on the easiest possible settings- expect i picked 'The last war' for some exiceitment [hard].

So my base is going pretty well. about 250 people, self sustained, building bases around the map, etc.

Now because i picked the Last War, there was a War Tension counter. Now the story goes that terriosts attacks in some forgein country caused a lot of tension between countries. This is similar between the USA and mostly every other country vs rocketman and China. I also now cant import and resources either.

The only way you can get the war counter to go down, is to export rare metals back to earth. This is a slow process. Since i was making a dome desginated for schools, i was using a lot of rare metals for eletronics. This left little at a time to go towards exporting.

I basically have two bases on the map connected by a tunnel. My main base has 1 mega dome and like 5 small domes. The other base is a Mega dome, with a maybe 1 or two tile distance to a smller dome outpost for my metal production.

suddenly at 70% tension, a barge of enamy missles hits this outpost, killing 100 people, eletronics, rare metal and metal production, and causing no accplicants to be in the pool to come to mars. 5 sceonds before this happeneds i get a warning saying that the missles suddenly changed direction from the sun to mars, and i should get anti-air (the blow dryier things). Since i only had 1k per day points, i wouldnt even have gotten it 12 sols before this happened.

Its stupid in a war crisis the devoplers were so uncreative they never thought that earth might send a anti-missle defense system to mars, considering the base has so far costed them 40 billion.

I tried rebuiling, life support systems at both bases failing from lack of metals. 50 refugees were sent from earth to live on mars and i sent to to my outpost mega domb. This was still not enough, and i spent the next sol sending rockets to pick up even 5 wrong speaiclized people just to even help to get everything back up in running. This is only in the mega domb, i basically lost the small domb from lack of people.

This is all to think that even after all of this, the uncreative devoplers never though to add to the storyline about attacking the telescopes of whoever did this to prevent this from happeneing again. Or get some anti-missle to intercept when tthe missles are luanched.

I still couldnt even get the blow dryier even if i was resarching it.

Then, 10 minutes later the same thing happeneds again. The missles hit me mega domb, life support and metals production knocked out, etc. Now the sanity in all the other uneffected dombs are terrible from this, and i cant get any more people.

I know it said [Hard], but this wasnt what i was expecting. I was expecting something hard, not just impossible. Its just annoying, not fun, and wasting my time. Iv been wasiting 8 days waiting, and weeks for this break form school only for it to be wasted. Spring break is coming up, and it wont be used on this game.

This wasnt fun, this was annoying. Imagine cutting your reosurce production in half and calling it 'hard mode.' There is nothing that makes it hard just unreasltic and impossible. This game isnt creative or fun, its a boring, pointless game hidden behind good graphics and somewhat good drone AI.

Also:

I love no matter my colony location theres always a perfect cliff surrodning the tiles so i cant expand, to, for instance the other side of mars.

80% of all the space in my tiles is useless. Plain open space nothing exicting.

No way to terraform the planet and make everything it breathable. If i could expand past my tiles all over the entire surface of mars, i could build massive, maintanceless terrfiroming meachines like in Aliens.

Tunnels are useless, AI doesnt even use them.

No cool buildings. Some things cost a outrangous about for no reason. 200 million dollar sterling genartor, really? Is it made of Gold? Im paying for fuel and rocket.

The Last War storyline is boring and impossible. I don't care whats happening back on earth, since it isnt even real in the game anyways.

I also faced the last war mystery, and I will agree it is frigging hell. War is hell after all. 2 missile attacks attacking life support. aka, water with little to no back ups. After that it was over. If you have the meteor defense buildings, they should help, which I didn't either, and still don't. Honestly, the attacks taught me a bunch of things on how to manage my colony better, also know as spread out your resources so one thing can't destroy them all.
I'm sorry that you didn't have fun beating the mystery, but for me it was a thrill when WW3 was over

I played on easy expect this. You would think earth would send there 40 billion dollar mars base 4-6 prefabs of anti-meteor/ missle defenses? Metals are a big issue, same with eletronics. These were the only deposts remotely close to my base, and they keep getting barged with missles. All my life support systems are failing from this. considering i only have 1000 research because im constantly working on rebuidling, its imposisble for me to buy the defense.

Saying Hillary (or any politician) supports abortion is a misnomer. Hillary supports a woman's right to choose, but just about all of us who support the right to choose would prefer abortion not be chosen, making it illegal just takes it underground. Churches are failing to step up to help and educate young women in interventions and instead expend their energy and time supporting overzealous lawmakers and right wing opportunists.

Putin posioning people and basically using chemical weapons on allied soil is very troubling, especially when we have a president that appears to be in his pocket and is reluctant to acknowledge the seriousnous of these acts of war. Putin is emboldened with the current adminstrations russian policies and this is only going to get worse as US leadership doesn't have the guts to bring about economic sanctions. The Populist belief is taking the US off the world stage and Russia and China are stepping up and many Asian countries (esp. S Korea) are reevaluating their relationships. Very scary times.

Hillary was a TERRIBLY FLAWED candidate. Sadly she carried an air of entitlement to the nomination after then Candidate Barack Obama came out of nowhere and took it away in 2008. The email scandal alone should have probably disqualified her from running for office let alone the Benghazi diasaster, yet the fact that she still won the popular vote speaks volumes about how poor a candidate Trump was.

Fox news gains its popularity because it is the ONLY conservative news tv network so its conservative viewers are completely consolidated and not spread out across multiple networks. It has also become state run media, the stretches it makes to prop up the ridiculous amount of flaws this president and his administration has is astounding. The big draw is Hannity though with his ridiculously staged liberal stooges he argues against every night. If youre a liberal or in the middle, Fox News is side splittingly entertaining.

Trump is so nervous about Mueller, he can't shut up about it. You know something happened or this would have ended weeks ago. Half his campaign staff have been involved in russian misdeeds and indicted on it. If you watched something besides Fox news, you would know this. His constant attacks on the FBI are so telling.

Besides the Catholic church, lets not forget Waco, Jim Jones, Heaven's Gate. Those are examples of extreme christian cults that took lives, but let's not forget about the more subtle sects like the Scientologists who operate with more stealth to destroy lives. And the florida preacher who burned Korans to incite middle east violence rather than try to intervene and help young women seeking abortions.
