How to clean drones and vehicles?
My drones and RC transports are in excellent working condition. However, all of them are completely covered in dirt and dust! How can i clean them? Not seeing "service" option anywhere, and there seems to be no carwash building

Ok, I actually don't know, but my best guess would be: Select Drone and right click on the Rover.

Nope! That does nothing. Dont forget little drones themselves get covered in dust aswell, not just rovers.

Seems like its one of the things you guys missed! There needs to be a way to clean drones and rovers, as after 20 or so days every single rover and drone in my colony is completely grimed. Maybe a carwash building? Or recharge station automatically cleaning them too?

When you click on a building there is repair option at the top (looks like a gear and wrench). They will repair and clean. If you hold CTRL and click that icon they will repair/clean all buildings of that type.

Sorry, but did you read the post? Im talking about drones and rovers, NOT buildings.

As far I know Drones get cleaned automatically somehow, maybe by charging at Drone Hubs. No idea for Rovers, mine have always just been, clean. Maybe when you charge them on a cable?

Drones i don't know. Rovers i stood next to one of those dust prevention things and waited.

The Drones are cleaned when they go to recharge themselves, yeah. But why the Rovers aren't cleaned by a Drone don't is beyond me.

They dont for me. I manually told a drone to go recharge, and its still dirty, same as every other drone and rover in my colony

Thats just nasty! Should be a way to clean them ASAP

They do get cleaned eventually. I don't know how. I think once their "dirtiness" level reaches a certain point a drone probably does something to them on it's own.

It's really annoying me with my rovers caked in mars dust. Not to mention my pipes that used to bre around my concrete excavator are all covered in red dust and nobody is cleaning it. Really wish that I had a button I could press on each piece that would signal whomever it takes to clean them.

So you waited... nothing happened? ChoGGi's mod seems to be a perfect candidate for this. I know for a fact drones do get cleaned after a while when visiting the recharge station (at the drone hub or independent one).

But seriously, it should be a thing cause, if you put yourself in the shoes of a new colonist who arrives at Mars for the first time and once you set foot all you see are dusty and grimy rovers going one way or the other... it may cause you discomfort or insanity... or both!! and you haven't even lived a single SOL in the red planet.
