How to repair a malfunctioned RC Rover?
My RC Rover had a malfunction I guess?
If there was any notification about what happened I must have missed it, it still has 60% power but can't do anything.

Its status says Waiting for repairs, ok.
How do I repair it? what does it need? Why does it not give me this information?
I am fine with it being a loss if it is out of range of repairs, ♥♥♥♥ happens, but if there is an easy fix that I am just missing I'd rather go with that,

Chances are it got pegged by a meteor if its oiut of range of your colony there's not much you can do other than send a transport over with metal/machine parts and hope the rovers drones are still working.

You'd need to either build a series of drone hubs out until one can reach, or ship in a second rc rover and send it out to mend the first one.

Nevermind, Figured it out a minuite later.
Apparently all you have to do is select a drone, and issue a move command ON the broken Rover...
Why a drone doesn't just do this automatically when in range..... 8 of them just sitting there. ugh.

On the otherhand, these were the rovers being commanded by the broken rover, and yet they were still able to recive commands, one would think they wouldn't work given their controller was broken.

Edit:
Didn't take any resources to fix, just time.

I also found this out by mistake frustrated my mobile drone command was dead and clicked on one of its drones and he starts to fix it. No tutorial game fail.

If your RC Commander malfunctioned than it can no longer give orders to the drones to have them repair it so that is why they do not do it automatically. You can still give them orders directly though even it they have no commander so you can tell them to fix the RC Commander. I figured this out when a dust tornado went over mine and it was far away from any drone hubs.

Brilliant. I was wondering about this. Thanks for posting your solution, most don't. Sending an award your way.

When the commander is broken you become the Drone commander. Seems logical to me.
