Great example considering it was the new MP aspect of the game that made it one of the biggest flops in the history of gaming and made EA fire everyone and close Maxis' doors for good.
It was not great no.. But had they improved it instead of giving it up. It would be awesome. But it worked. and when it was working OK. It was fun to play with other friends. Saying it was "biggest flop in the history of gaming" is def. NOT true!
you try to steal all resource on the map and build in your opponant base to put obstacle, so he cant build dome and way for pipe and electric cable ;^)
of course the map should be the hardest map with meteor, dust storm and cold wave ;^)
yes sega and atari or disaster with wii u are bigger but anyway maxis was the only to try different simulation game
I see what you did there. Good job misquoting me to form fit it to your counter argument!
I did not say it was the biggest flop. I said it was ONE of the biggest flops, and I think the fact that given its absymal reception, sales, and post-launch handing forced EA to fire everyone associated with it and shut the doors permanently makes that somewhat of an indisputable fact.
