Where is the subsurface heater?
I'm at a standstill after initial setup due to frozen terain. Is the subsurface heater a researched item or am I missing it in the construction tree somewhere? I also don't see it as a possible prefab to be shipped. Please help. -Freezing on Mars

Researched item. Usually in the first column or two - I believe it is in Physics.

That sucks. I'm 4 items in on the physics tree and still dont see it. I think this is a progression issue that should probably be looked at. If you can't get concreete up and running because of frozen ground and the tech is too far down a tree the game (session) is pretty much DOA. I guess I'll reroll and avoid the cold spots for now. That truly sucks for people looking to add difficulty to what seems like a pretty easy game.

I finally found it 5th on my physics tree. Devs should probably ensure that it's one of the visible techs at game start or at the very least leave a note somewhere in game as to where the solution is researched.

Tech is shuffled around every game. Sometimes it's in the first spot, some times it isn't. Only thing you can do is to adapt in the meantime.
