Uneven Terrain on flat surface

A lot of times, especially in mid to end-game when a lot of construction occurs, I really got tired of "Uneven Terrain" even on relative flat surfaces...

No matter how much I flat the area, I have to do it 2-3 times on the same spot until it is completely flat.

Even if i zoom in the camera and turn it on eye level angle I don't see any bumps or holes, everything flat, but when I try to build anything I get the "Uneven Terrain"..

I understand the concept and the mechanics of the game, but give this a break, allow the construction on "flat" surfaces even if there is the most minor bump there..

Other than that it is a great game, I really enjoy it, and I really love how everything works together (animations of the models etc, gameplay, and it is a very brilliant game)

This is a known issue, I believe ChoGGi has a mod that fixes it by allowing build on a "nearly" flat surface.

thank you very much for saying that it's a known issue, I might have gotten to a point that literally I believed I'm blind or something and cannot see if the surface is flat or not

often it's out on the edge such that the BUILDING is on flat but the perimeter required, or the passageways from a dome for example are what's on the unflat. look at the shape of the dome near the other protrusions, and make sure the "build shadow" is filled out in all areas. If just the shadow is obstructed then it doesn't look as though the building is obstructed.

I can't build on a flat area. Whats the mod called?
