Earthsickness
In my current game, as the Blue Sun Corporation, I have a problem in my colony where lots of colonists become "Earthsick" and end up leaving. This means I can't have my corporate offices at maximum employment, which means I can't make as much money, which means I can't buy as many rare supplies.

How do I fix this? I tried making comfort and recreation buildings, but those haven't made much of a dent. In fact, because the lazy Earthsick colonists refuse to work (I can't threaten to throw them into Airlock) these buildings often have empty job slots.

Raise your comfort level, if their level is over 70 then it'll remove the status.

See what is reducing their comfort levels and focus on improving it. Just building decorations buildings doesn't help for some colonists who have special needs like luxury/medicine etc.

Don't land any rockets close to domes with Earthsick colonists, and they won't be able to go back home.

Bad idea. Earthsick colonists don't work, but still take up living space, eat your food, and breathe your air. If you have too many of them, they'll strangle the colony to death.

One possible problem is that you're dealing with the odd loner colonist. Try and filter these guys out at the rocket, because they're a pain in the tuckus. If they want to go, let them go. They're usually not that numerous.

As for lazy colonists, you can fix that at the Sanatorium. A few rounds of Mike Pence's electro-conversion therapy should have them feeling a tad more productive

He is right, do not land rockets until Earthsickness is gone. Fix their comfort and they return to work.

There's a repeatable tech here that will reveal 1 breakthrough at a time. Eventually, you'll get soylent green
