Bad idea. Earthsick colonists don't work, but still take up living space, eat your food, and breathe your air. If you have too many of them, they'll strangle the colony to death.
One possible problem is that you're dealing with the odd loner colonist. Try and filter these guys out at the rocket, because they're a pain in the tuckus. If they want to go, let them go. They're usually not that numerous.
As for lazy colonists, you can fix that at the Sanatorium. A few rounds of Mike Pence's electro-conversion therapy should have them feeling a tad more productive

Already exists, man. Breakthrough technology.
I think 50 is the minimum to remove it.
He is right, do not land rockets until Earthsickness is gone. Fix their comfort and they return to work.
The key word is "breakthrough" which implies not every map has it, that would be why someone wants a mod for it.
Don't worry. I see what you're getting at. Gotcha covered.

Reveals every type of technology you desire, including the breakthroughs, but if that's a bit too easy for you...

There's a repeatable tech here that will reveal 1 breakthrough at a time. Eventually, you'll get soylent green
Still works though. Haven't really noticed any problems.
