How do you get water out of a canyon space.

I have a Canyon in my area, it has a single entrance and the power cable runs down to it just fine, but I can't run any pipes out of the canyon, is there another way to use this water for my domes? Or is it just a red herring to frustrate people like me that want to use a deep water well?

Every time I try to run piping up the hill, the ai says "Uneven Terrain" and won't build any pipes.

You could see if there's a short enough space to have the pipes go straight down (they can bypass uneven terrain).

Pipes can pass over obstacles if both ends are buildable, if the pipe is straight and at no point the pipe touches the terrain, the maximum span of such a "pipe bridge" is surprisingly long. It's usually possible to get pipes into and out of craters and such but you might have to try different locations to find one where you can get a straight, non-contacting pipe span between buildable tiles.

Yep, you have to get the start and end of the pipes in the right position. It sometimes wont auto adjust to the spacing that allows it.
