There are two early techs that get you 100 more research speed each. Get them obviously. There are also in dome buildings that will provide the majority of your research. They are electronics expensive but getting one up early is highly recommended.

(Or if you were talking about mods rather than in-universe solutions...search the workshop for "research". You should find something that fits your play style.
