I am looking for a tech tree picture so I can see what I need to get.

Every game the techs in the tech tree is semi-randomized. So you could get a list of every tech but you'll never know when you'll get it in the tree.

Breakthrus are not even guaranteed either. You'll play games without seeing most of them.

I see. I need to get the no metal deposit required and no concrete deposit required techs badly. I have trouble with my colony once I deplete metal, concrete, etc. within the vicinity of the domes. Most of all, I have trouble with electronics, etc. Any suggestions or advice? Please help. Thank you.

Get a transport rover and build more scan towers. After scanning regions you'll get an overview of how many overland metal there is and you can survive with those metals for a loooong while depending of your needs.

I see. How bout electronics/polymer/machine parts? Any suggestion on what I should do to make those? Thank you.

There's only one way to make those. The factories that have their parts names and they require workers, and therefore domes.
You can buy them as prefabs from Earth, so no need to research them really.

I see. Thank you Emmote and Eagle of Fire for all the help. I will keep everything in mind as I play.

The first industry you should set is machine parts. That's all you're going to need for a long while. Second one is polymer then electronics. Ferry everything you need from Earth in the interim.

Machine parts first because windmills and concrete miners.

I see. I see. I will try machine parts production asap. Thank you again Eagle of Fire.

You can play completely without wind turbines. So you can avoid to rush on machine parts first. Most of my runs I play a long time without a "human" base, so I can do the scan thing first and decide then where to build a dome. Because most of the time you will need a good metal depot for a good "human" base start.

Any suggestions on what electricity producer I should build? Thank you.

I usually go with solar power and batteries unless I land on a plateau. Then I go wind power because of the elevation boost.

Prior to having machine parts factory, solar is very easy. They only require metal to maintain and have the same base power of wind turbines. Use a couple of batteries to keep everything running at night. These require polymer for maintenance but its cheaper to buy compaired to the maching parts for the wind. Turbines do get a very nice boost on high terain so you may want to go that route earlier if you are playing on a mountainous map.

Wind turbines are always superior in any way, shape or form. The real problem is maintenance, which at the early game is going to kill you if you go overboard. This is why you need a mix of both. But for the best bang for your buck, even at 0% elevation, the wind turbines are the best no question asked.

I do, and it works out completely fine. o_O Hell, my first colony had no wind turbines at all.
