How do I attack the dredgers?

I have the required tech, but im not sure how to target it, anyone else have a clue?

I got a message saying I could now kill them with drones, but I couldn't yet. I needed to finish the appropriate tech.

You apparently had the opposite problem, you've finished the tech but not gotten the message yet.

It looks like it's possible to accidentally trigger things out of order in this Mystery.

But assuming it has progressed properly, you need to get the dredger in the range of your drones (I used my RC Rover). Then click on the dredger and click the button in the upper right, just like you are salvaging a building. The drones will go out and kill it, but it takes a little while. You'll know it's working because it starts glowing.

Also, do not waste any time. One of those damned things mined 600+ Rare Metals of a 2.4k+ deposit I was looking forward to exploiting rather soon!

Once destroyed they leave a bit of stuff behind, like 8-10 Parts/Polymers/Fuel or similar.

I have the same issue, I have the tech, but no idea how to attack them. They are 25 dredgers now and I need to kill them!

Oh god, we need to select them and click on destroy

My problem is I didn't send enough drones. I sent only 1 drone at first with 1 rover. I then sent another rover with 5 drones, so 6 drones in total, that seemed to work.

It looks like it takes 3 drones to destroy it.
