PC or Console?
I'd really like more games that I can play on Console since I'm at my PC keyboard and mouse all day long and it destroys my wrists. I'm really curious what the differences will be between console and pc and whether there will be significant benefits to getting the PC version over the Console version?

PC will have a higher ceiling for how big of a colony you can run without noticeable slowdowns (provided your hardware is good enough)

Consoles suck, PC's rule :D woohoo ... I use a PC all day .. and ? get yourself a controller like the Steam One, has a mouse trackpad on it, so you can sit back.

Yeah the problem is that controller, the fine movement of the PC vs the gross movement of the console. I really want more couch games but since I'm a strategy fan I find myself on PC all the time. I want to be in a different environment with a very different controller. Anyway this is sidetracked - what are th differences?

There are no differences other than hardware limitations on scale and means of controlling.

If you have a good computer justbuy logitech gamepad for 20$ (CDN). not sure why you wouold ever play this type of game on a console..Gives me chills up my spine.

Play it on whatever platform you have and that you enjoy the most. PS4 Pro and XBOX X with 12GB can easily play this game. Honestly though it would be nice for multi license on stuff like this with linked accounts. On the plus side PC gets full gamepad support.

I NEVER unstand why anyone want to any game on controller. Mouse and keyboard is SOSO much easier to use. the only time I ever use controller is maybe car racing.

I actually like action games using a controller. Things where you need to dodge and fight, and where the 360° stick can actually move you in exactly the direction you need to go. When playing games like the Batman Arkham series, or Dark Souls, I like to use controllers, even on PC.

Base-building games... no. I know it can be done, especially with pausable games, but even so, it would just be too cumbersome for me.

When you get a little older and you spend 60 hours in front of your computer banging away for your career, the thought of spending another couple hours in front of same computer for play loses its appeal. Different modalities = different ergonomics = different setting. Once the repetitive stress sets in you'll want a change of scene.

And yeah, I could just buy it for the PC and then... what? Tote my laptop down to the living room, I guess. Simpler just on the XBOX.

Any streaming setup ever. Even Steam Link.

No need to move around stuff. even an extra pc will do.

I have a desktop built up, and an old gaming laptop I keep hooked up to my TV. just stream games from the desktop to my laptop and project it to the TV. Poof. Problem solved. same games. same saves. same everything.

A little older?? I had been in IT for 20 years. I use computers all day at work and I use computer at gome, what's the problem?

The discussion is why use controller when keyboard and mouse is so much easiler to control almost any game.

No its not you putz. Read the OP. Clearly has nothing to do about what is "better". Has to do with what the OP wants.

OP wants to use a controller in front of his TV. Stop having a problem with it. He can do what he wants.

I recommend OP uses a second computer to stream his gaming laptop or desktop or whatever to his TV.
