Modding Guide
I've done an exhaustive search trying to find a video or guide on how to mod this game. I have looked at the mod editor but they haven't made anything very clear on how to use it. Is there anything, anywhere?

Not that i have seen, so much for "made to be modded" and
"mod friendly"

Super easy to mod go to mod editor in game, click new, name it, doubled click on the mod folder you just created, it will open a new screen. On the new screen click add and select what you want, building, crop, etc and then edit away...

It IS mod friendly - To people who know a little about modding... or bother reading the documentation given when you boot up the mod editor (although it could be better)

You'll get very far looking at the example mods and copying over the stuff you like.

I have modded a lot over the past 20 years. I have allready made
several of my own mods (without copying or templates).
I do understand they have given acess that dev's usually try to
restrict but.... Acessing the core files is still a massive faff around.
Not much of a problem for me, i modded back when you had to create
your own tools so.. I am speaking from the perspective of a less Exp
modder like the OP.
The last "mod freindly" game i played had all the core files as XML.
Very simple to change, note book being the only tool you need.
THAT is mod friendly. Having to manually crack LUA files is not so much.

Mod friendly implies documentation (most games don't have any) for modding, as well as designing code and assets to make them as softcoded as possible.
