This, or put a ton of universal depots and regular depots next to the PStorage.
They get filled first. Drones will assist in distributing the goods from the PStorage onto the UStorage.
It will give you time to remove materials from the PStorage and then demo it.
I did empty it by having to manualy telling 2-3 rovers to go back and forth to pick up the resourses.
For now im only useing one for steel as the molehole creates absolute masses of it that i dont need.
Im sticking with the good old storages til they make an update that allows for mass drop and pickup on them.
Yes it does require some careful consideration for use. The idea was not to make it easier or as some folks call it, a cheat.
All they need to do is make a toggle for storages accepting new materrials or not, then the sorting AI could look for that toggle and treat stored material as "on the ground = pick up."
Should it be instantaneous? No. Should it not be possible without turning off all your drones, shuttles, and running 5 transports just because you need to get rid of a storage?
No.
This was poorly thought out and poorly designed.
