Sphere Mystery [Spoil]

Got rid of all the sphere, but i'm still stuck on cold wave
did i miss something ?

Yes, you probably missed a sphere. I hate to be fresh about it..
When I had that mystery one got loose and multiplied relentlessly - others spawned from no where.
You should get a verbal popup message indicating that you have in fact gotten rid of the last shpere as well as some additional text regarding the mission.

Assuming you converted all the spheres, the cold wave will steadily dissipate.
If you missed one it will continue to multiply. Zoom out and look for shiny objects.

Also, the cold wave wont start to dissipate until each sphere is destroyed in the traps. You may have one in a trap somewhere.

i keeped 2 traps, but nothing comes

Maybe. Save the game and upload it. I can check it out.

BTW you will get a message log entry saying the last sphere was destroyed. If you didnt get that then there is one left.

I scanned all the sectors and didnt see the sphere. The message says it crash landed on the surface and you can gather the deposits.

There are some big deposits on the upper left side of the map I tried to gather but you didnt have enough power in the transport. I assume you will need to clean them up before the cold wave ends. It only ends when all the spheres have been digested into resources.

Sadly, you dont have enough food for the colony so it looks like they may all die before you can clean it up.

Scan the map up close again. I did it three times, but didnt see a sphere like object. Just the deposits. it may be that.

In which sectors did you saw thoses depostis ?

because i grabed all the sphere with the traps, converted all of them in iron/rare deposit, and gathered them all already

in the upper left i only see wild iron deposit (like normal)

so i don't understand

I think I have the same or similar issue in my game. The spheres just wont stop coming. I know I'm well over 50 spheres disassembled, and they just keep splitting/respawning. I have close to 2k metal and rare metal from disassembling them all- finally starting to export the rare metal and bringing back eletronics so I can keep making the disassemblers.

I think it's bugged. I know my game was created prior to the patch that fixed the rockets not taking off, so I wonder if it's a similar issue to the rockets where a new game or bugfix is required.

I played your game some more. I picked up the deposits in question. It wasnt them.
You may have experienced a bug where the sphere moved off screen and then obeyed the command to crash.

I suggest going back to an earlier save, like sol 100 and try and capture all of them.
If you have that save please send it. I would love to try myself.
BTW report that save.
Open a bug report on paradoxplaza.com and upload the save game where the sphere is off map.

Possible. You may need to restart the game. I noticed many of the new things I mod dont take effect on save games.

Same issue. I have definitely cleared all the spheres, and yet the cold wave has continued for more than a dozen Sol.

Hi guys, judging from what you're all saying, I see I have to destroy the spheres; but, I don't know how to proceed. I just got to the point where the first one duplicated itself after 300 dayum sols!

I researched the Sphere Protection breakthrough when the sphere first popped out of the excavation site. I am confused as to what to do next since this process takes forever.

Please advise.
