What to do with all the waste rock?
I have the research to turn waste to concrete. I am drowning in waste rock. Any suggestions as to what to do with it all?

Put some concrete depots next to them and watch it get turned into concrete. That's all you can do because extractors will always make more.

Emmote is right...Eventually you will be able to research the option to turn waste rock into concrete, so it will eventually be a help.

Also, you do NOT need to make tons of waste rock storage...drones will move it away from an excavator (or whatever is giving waste rock) and line the perimeter with wasterock. So it pretty much always has a place to go even if you don't make storage areas for it.

That's true but you will need to make at least one. Drones can only make concrete from waste rock stored inside the waste rock depots.

I have the tech researched, I just never thought to put a deposit next to the waste storage area

There are also a few mods out there that have waste rock as a consumable to help get rid of it. I'm in the process of developing a waste rock smelter.

One's already been released--just FYI. :steamhappy:

Yes I am aware of that. Both of us were talking about a waste rock mod. They simply beat me to it. (It was planned in my mod, I still plan to proceed with my original idea however. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1332103888

Putting a deposit down did the trick. Thanks!
