How to get babies?
Hello there, I'm new to this game and I'm trying to get out from Founder Stage asap. In order to do that, a baby must born. What is the best layout, founders perks/flaws and facilities to increase comfort to at least 55? I followed other guides, but I never got a baby even though I had diners, parks, clinics and spacebars. Any help? (send screenshot of your dome if you desire too). Thank you all and have a nice day!
P.S.: Don't make jokes about "How to get babies", I'm here asking for help, not for reading useless messages.

It would help to know how you define a useless message. Every message has a use.

If you read the guides, you already know how the first Founder baby is made. I doubt the guides are leaving anything out. As for the rest, my guess it's exactly like how babies are made in real life, there's some randomness involved. In my very first game, I did what you did and no babies. In a subsequent game, I didn't bother to worry about comfort and somehow I got a baby anyways.

So, I am writing this code as a mod to help babies come out faster for you.

10: REM: Twelvefield's Baby Algorithm © 2019
20: Check baby. If YES GOTO 60
30: REM: No baby
40: Press FAST FORWARD
50: GOTO 10
60: Send Twelvefield $10.00

The medical center helps a lot to achieve new babies, also is involved the grade of comfort, have enough male/female colonists, and having colonists with the 'sexy' trait helps also a lot.

Thank you really much, I define "useless message" a message like Nightraven has sent, a video which has no purpose in this thread.

Never thought about sexy trait, thank you! I usually go for 6 males and 6 females, so everything is preatty balanced, idk if it affects birth rate tho

Making babies is actually a function of the dome. 5 times a day it attempts to pair up a male and female and based on their individual comfort gives them points towards a birth. Once those points hit a tipping point a new colonist is spawned.
Comfort of the colonist themselves governs the speed or effect. So check the colonist comfort not what the domes comfort is.
Sexy trait speeds earning points.
If you install the Incubator mod then you can see these statistics in the infopanel.

The fastest way to get an early baby, in my experince, is to have your first dome contain a Diner, Liveing Quarters and 2 Ponds, Alleys or 3 hex parks and a Infirmery. Put the infirmery open 1 shift with 1 person working, fully staff the diner for all 3 shifts, with Overtime active on the daylight shifts. That's 7 people out of your 12, you can have the others start growing food, researching or mineing rare minerals.
