Best Mystery rewards? *Spoilers*
What are the best mystery rewards?

From what I have googled it appears to be Beyond Earth for good food but don't get researchable farm bonuses or St Elmo's Fire?


From googling & playing the rewards are-

The Power of Three gives better decorations

Inner Light gives +15 productivity for people with Dreamer perk, Able to teach dreamers trait

Beyond Earth gives the Hydroponic Farm Ganymede Rice (6 food a day, or twice what a standard crop Wheat normal farm produces),
But the research bonuses to farms don't affect hydroponics which sucks.

The Philosopher's Stone - Powered stones gives 1 Rare metal a day

The Dredgers give Magnetic Extraction breakthrough (Extractor +50%)

Artificial Intelligence 10% cheaper research

Spheres - Can game the system, Have cold waves & leave 1 to reproduce, dismantled spheres give Metal, Rare Metal or Polymers

St. Elmo's Fire - Light traps make power or research

The Last War gives nothing

Wildfire gives increased export costs, Sell food for money

Marsgate alternative meteor defense building & limited meteor defense rovers

Metatron gives nothing

Good list but some of the ones that give nothing are darn fun to play and offer challenges.
Spheres is my favorite. The last war is challenging, wildfire give you funding in exchange for shipping a cure perpetually to earth, Marsgate is fun to go to war and blow ♥♥♥♥ up, Inner Light is entertaining. etc.

They may not give a bonus at the end but some give bonuses throughout. Wildfire, for instance, ramps up export costs after the first stage of infection on Earth so you can make a ton of money from them.

I enjoy doing the different mysteries.

But I finish the mystery, then I keep playing the map for ages afterwards,
I like to research everything, dome most of the map etc

So the mystery is a very small part of my playthrough & I am curious as to which gives the best rewards for playing a map for a long time

from all mysteries St. Elmos Fire is the worst.

Why you may ask? Because it clutters the map around your Colony with stupit Sinkholes and you can't remove them afterwards.

If looking for straight up best boost, I think The Philosopher's Stone is it. Because it triggers at 5 scans which means really early on, grants +1 rare metal production per stone powered (forever), and powering all gives +100 electronics, +100 machine parts, on top of the usual mystery reward of random wonder/breakthrough.

The stones break and stop giving regular rare metals if you complete the philosopher's stone.

The best is easily Inner Light. The Dreamer trait has a high pass down rate from parents and you can set schools to teach it. So its not hard to get the majority/nearly all of your people to have it. From there it makes everything you do a bit better. More science, more crafted resources, more food and so on.

Next is Dredgers. Especially if you have nano refinement.

After that I'd say Wildfire. It effectively lets you export food for money.

philosopher tones kinda do get obsolete with the mohole. And if you finish them they are gone as wel, a bit sad. so to coninuously make use of that you need to not finish it and keep one unpowered. It's an extremely nice one then if you are lucky and get the fusion reactor breakthrough.
