Can't repair pipe leak

I know this bug has been reported six thousand times, but I had it crop up today. Can't repair a pipe leak. I even went so far as to "manually" have a drone pick up a unit of metal and drive over to the leak, and it just sits there, idle... And yes, it is in range of a drone hub which is not overworked and has power. I guess the work-around is to delete the pipe and rebuild it, which I'm about to do. (I'll save the game first; china sol 13.)

Edit: I discovered something which worked, sort of by accident. I had the drone put the metal down near the pipe, then, with the drone active, I could click on the pipe to repair it.

Edit: Something else I've noticed is that you can't tell a drone to repair a leak if another drone has already been assigned to the task. (It would be nice if you got a message in that regard.) However, in this case, the drone hub only had one drone.

Thanks for posting about this bug. I ran into this today for the first time, and was wondering what was going on and whether it was a new bug that was introduced with all the updates...

I'm very new to this game but have encountered behavior like this in similar games. Right now my particular issue is the drones won't refuel a Rocket. There's fuel stockpiled, the Rocket is within a Drone Hub, the Rocket is set high priority, there's even a Fuel refinery near it

but

the drones would rather sit idle. Same with getting stockpiled Machine Parts to get a second Concrete Extractor going and a Wind Turbine running. The drones won't actively go to a depot, GET the resources, and BUILD.
