The program MarsSteam.exe version 1.0.0.0 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed.

I see some issues with this back in 2018, anyone ever find a fix? Made it around 10 hours into my first colony and now I'm getting a black hard lock on Windows 10 after 10-15 minutes of gameplay.

Seeing it may be related to DWM.exe in EventViewer, only game that does this is Surviving Mars, and reading back last year it's suggested to just start a new game. Crash logs from the game always state the same memory or rendering bug below:

Module: MarsSteam.exe
Function: COULDN'T FIND OR PARSE MAP FILE
Error: Access violation

Would love this game and was going to buy all of the new DLC, but only getting 10-15 minutes on a 2080Ti system that should be way overkill for Surviving Mars means that will never happen.

I had same problem, steam couldnt find MarsStea.exe file. I tried restart PC, reinstall game, reinstal steam, simly all that steam recommend to solve this problem.
