Transportation Question

I have my main supply near my main dome(A) and i want to get a new dome further away from them, along with a few deposits that i want to keep with a minimum resources of each.
My question is, if i put a single universal deposit with a desire of 20 resources, and i create a route that loads from my first dome's resources and unloads on the second one, will it just transfer till the 20 are full?

It will run into difficulties i guess as the RC transport just transports everything from A to B . Very intricate plan though.
The limit is for drones&shuttles i believe. The RC transport AI will have difficulties figuring it out. Just like shuttels have difficulties (in my experience) with auto storages. Try it out?

RC’s will unload their entire stock of resources. For fine management, use shuttles.

Well this is how it turned out. It doesn't work ahah.
The RC Transport just fills the entire depot, even non wanted materials, drones and shuttles remove the unwanted moving them elsewhere, and since it is at least 20 they will not touch the other ones. Maybe in a future we can be a bit more flexible in this regard.

I don't understand. Can't you specify which material is moved? That wouldn't move the other unwanted materials, then. It seems it would still fill it to 30.
I am able specify which goods are moved (including All) for my routes.

Yes but in a situation where you need more than one resource it doesn't work i guess.
Can you create more than one route at the same time for the same RC Transport?

A less efficient option that doesn't require you to get shuttles would be to daisychain drone hubs together by using depots requesting resources inbetween. If both are requesting resources they'll try to keep them both at the same level by taking from the other, so it can slowly transfer resources across long distances.
