Seed collecting

Have noticed an issue with drones collecting seeds from in dome farms to supply the seeder machine. Worked for the majority of the game but then I had to manually order the drone then order them to bring it to the seeder.

I raise the priority and still no drones go do the job and they are all in range and no other tasks but the seeder keeps "crying" for more seeds

Idk I always put a small seed depot next to each seeder and I don't have any problems like that.

I have that but they wont bring the seeds out of the dome like they use to

I put a seed depot near the dome that is producing the seeds, with no preferred quantity. I then put a seed depot near each seeder with a small quantity of 20 or 30 on them. This prioritises those depots and the drones always keep them topped up.

I've got a seed depot near the dome and they use to bring the seeds here and to the seeder machine. No preferred quantity.

After a couple seed crops they stopped seeing the seeds as a resource to be stored or used
If I tell more than one drone to collect a seed then the first drone will stop and idle again while the last drone I ordered will go grab the seed and then have to order it to bring the seed to the seeder.

I will have to double check the settings but I know I have the seeder as active and high priority and the depot settings have not changed. They also grab the seeds from supply rockets no problem

On another note, I had all the icons for water, metal, rare metal, dome bonuses etc. (little circles on the ground) disappear and will only show when I select my scanner/explorer rover. Is there a button to turn this on and off? It showed for most of my game whether I was selecting the explorer rover or not.

If you have bushes and trees in drone range, and you try to load something with seeds, they prioritize harvesting the gazillion seeds .1 or .2 at a time, leaving the closer depot alone...

For the Seeding Vegetation project, one I fill a close at hand seed depot, I force the use of the close at hand pallet by deleting the depot. Once they are laying in a pile on the ground, they are the high priority, maybe for the next four loads, depending on your situation.

Before I saw what was going on, I tried making depots to keep up with the seed explosion, but soon discovered that to be folly with the landscape filled with pallets of seeds. The whole .1 thing was poorly thought out, they will swamp you and overwhelm your drones if you let them.

One pallet per drone area for seeds. Place strategically and delete if you want to force loading from piles instead of harvesting .1 at a time to get 100.

Thanks for the advice for future but at the moment I just have the moss/grass vegetation no seeds being produced

Yeah I typically leave most at grass now to keep from getting overrun by seeds. one licehen/grass//bushes, one set to grass/grass/trees very briefly. Once you see a two or three trees just turn them off, you are set for seeds the rest of the game.

Any idea how turn on icons to be visible at all times not just when I have the explorer rover selected? It was on before but I must have clicked something on the keyboard and I cannot find it in the key legend
