RC Dozers are a joke!

I decided to build two on my newest 1075% difficulty run so I could check how efficient they really are and it turns out that they are extremely slow in doing landscaping which is their SPECIALTY! It's way more efficient to get RC Commanders as you can use them for a lot more stuff. I am talking about NOT having the drones upgrade for faster landscaping. Drones need only 1-2 second(s) to take a rock away when clearing but the RC Dozer needs several and compare that to having 4-8 drones (depending on the research). It should be the other way around.

The RC Dozer has two functions. It can landscape and it can carry and move around rocks.
So you can take it and go to a rock dump, grab a load, and then go someplace and build something, or fill in a hole. Drones cannot fill in holes without material and they will no go get it if out of range.
While its slow to landscape, it has multiple uses where drones fall short.

Just because you dont use it that way, doesnt mean its a joke. You should think twice before labeling something so harsh, especially if you dont understand the full potential.

Except for the fact that I think twice and understand the full potential (or lack of as in this case). Also the description says "significantly faster than drones" which is a lie.You ignored the fact that drones have way more uses and CAN transport rocks. Transporting rocks over long distances (more than RC Commander range) was never an issue for me (41N111W 1075% is perfect example of that) and you know why? Because there are always uneven places from where to extract rocks and even if there are no around the long area a single landscaping project can cover allows the drones to extract rocks from far away without even moving much so this again proves that RC Dozers are a joke and useless. Also to order one you need to research it and then spend $500M - that's BS! Also you can literally teleport drones between Drone hubs and RC commanders which is way more efficient in terms of managing the priority of landscaping that waiting for RC dozers to go from one place to another. BTW did you completely forgot that RC Transport can also transport rocks?

What happens during my playthroughts is that I constantly get tons of excessive rocks as you need lategame in order to process them efficiently to concrete/heat and most of the time RC Transports are idle during early/mid game for obvious reasons - there are not many cases where you need transport routes.

Actually RC Dozers cannot even work alone even with RC automation mode!!! If I place a landscaping project over rocks RC Dozers are stupid enough not to clear the site. They just stay there even when manually tasked to work on it. Drones on the other hand can clear the site from rocks automatically!
