Micro dome is 3 large spaces + 1 medium space. A single mining extractor takes 12 geologists to run all three shifts. Assuming you don't have service bots, that means you'll need:
- 12 geologists
- 3-6 medics
- 6 non-specialists (3 in grocer, 3 in small space bar)
So you need space for 24 colonists. That translates to 1 grocer, 1 infirmary, 1 small space bar, and 1 single hex rec buildings in one large slice, 1 medium rec building in the medium slice, and 2 living quarters in the other two large slices. You could trade out the 2 living quarters for a single apartment if comfort isn't a problem, and add another apartment building if, say, you wanted to run two mines from that single dome or if you don't have the Colony Design DLC and only have the large space bar. In that case, swap out the small space bar for a living quarters to have enough colonists to run everything with the apartment. If you want to run more than two mining sites, then you're getting closer to wanting to upgrade to a basic dome, but it's unusual to have more than 2 mining sites that close to each other.
