Cube Mystery.

So I have had a bit of a stumbling block with this mystery, so I have gotten to the sensor tower part and have covered my whole colony with sensor towers. The thing is they are still appearing within the sensor tower coverage, also its been 50 Sols since the last update on this mystery I have looked online for a guide and they all talk like its so straight forward. Except with me its not, they are still appearing within my sensor tower limits and the mystery isnt progressing.
Does anyone know what im supposed to be doing to make it carry on? Im getting a little frustrated with them appearing within my base now.

This is the one mystery I've yet to do, so I can't be as helpful, but where are you in the process:

Investigate the Mystery Cube anomaly (unlocks Dark Spectrometry technology)
Research the Dark Spectrometry technology (Cube decorations)
Decide what do do with the Black Cubes
1. Store 150 Black Cubes (random Wonder or Breakthrough technology)
2. Destroy 150 Black Cubes (random Wonder or Breakthrough technology)
3. Use 384 Black Cubes (random Wonder or Breakthrough technology)
(optional) Investigate the Cube Disaster anomaly (unlocks S.H.E.P.I.D. technology)
(optional) Research the S.H.E.P.I.D. technology (Sensor Towers protect buildings)

Yeah I seen this guide online, It really didnt help much. I have researched the S.H.E.P.I.D and have sensor towers up all over the place. I have 39 full depots of them. I have tried destroying some I have tried making some into statues all to no avail. Its damn well annoying.
