I can't click on the computer or the cold storage autopsy door. What am I doing wrong?

I don't think I've missed anything. I've loaded savegames, I've retraced my steps and followed a walkthrough, but I'm stuck. The walkthroughs have no trouble examining the computer and the handless body, but I get nothing.

(Also, at this point, I can't do anything with the metal cans in the backyard either. I don't think the metal detector even turns on.)
