Any relation to Stars from 1995 or Stars nova?

Best game I ever played was 1995 Stars. The sequel never released. This game looks like it plays and everything like them. Best part about them were amazing in multiplayer. I guess not having multiplayer is why I don't buy this. Maybe ill pick up on sale one day.. Such a shame no MP!

The name Stars is in the name Stars in Shadows thus why I thought it might be related in some way to the original Developers. The more I research and look at photos the more similar they look and probably play.

I don't expect Arioch to have played Stars as it is a old game but at least know of the existence. It's like someone telling me they learned to program and made Path of Exile but never known about Diablo 1-3 Practically the mother of that type of rpg..I don't know the specifics to your job role so I'm only speculating someone came up with concept of the game and you only programmed which is why you don't know the roots of this type of game.

I haven't played Stars in Shadow, and I am not claiming some copyright blah blah. I'm just saying they so similar in so many ways.
It looks freaken awesome in comparison of the other games.

No multiplayer "sadface". will give it a try when I get some time. I can't wait!

Stars in Shadow is a good game and in my favorites. I am hoping that with enough support, they will either make a sequel with multi-player or a DLC.

Stars was a great game but the maps I played on were huge and very busy. Space Empires reminds me of it more than SIS personally.

Stars! was a shareware game from the 1990s. Like VGA Planets, unless you were involved into BBSes or the pre-internet BBS services you probably never heard of it.
