About diplomacy...
The AI seems to be a bit too stupid when making important diplomatic dicisions. The only strategy they know seems to be bully the weak, but nothing else. For example, when a faction a gaining big advantage, other factions should either beg for peace, or form an alliance and declare war against it together to maxiumize their chance of victory. However the AI appears to be too short-sighted to understand these.
Also, there's a bug which may creat an error window on the right top corner of the screen when player try to enter the diplomacy page of a minor race.
And, how exactly does the relationship value system work? There are two relationship values, I suppose the 'faction' value represents the view of their governer and the 'race' represents the view of their citizen. But how are they calculated and how do they affect the AI's decision?

Personally I'd like to have the option for the player to try and broke a peace between two warring factions. I like to role play the mediator when playing space sim so I usually go with easiest setting and diplomatic victory.

It is kind of a turn off after I got dragged into a war with one of my ally and then realize I can't back out of the war.

I don't like that the AI is able to ask favors of the player, but the player isn't able to ask favors in return from the AI. Like I gave you 150 gold when you needed it. Now give me 100 metal because I need it.

I also don't like that the AI seems way too trigger happy with declaring war. I was short of an alliance with the Yoral, our relationship was really going great. I helped them twice and they hovered around +70. Then they just declare war on me. And they can't even win the war. At the beginning they only have a few destroyers and a couple light cruisers, while I have 4 heavy cruisers, 16 light cruisers and 40 destroyers wandering around in 4 big fleets.

I wish the insuts option can be removed, I clicked on it once. Just yes or no would be fine. If not at least make it better. Something like "Shut up and go away! Clang" or "What is that smell?"

Sometimes when I need a little more votes, I can just allied with a neighbor and win the game. It's too easy. I hope diplomacy gets an overhaul. They should not allie with you just because they don't hate you and you have diplomacy points.

How exactly do diplomacy points work?

They are a currency you use to convince computer players to accept a treaty you offer,
