Can't get past robot laser puzzle

Does anyone have a game saved right after the robot laser puzzle? I've tried for days and can't get past it. I've tried a couple of walkthroughs but they are no help.

I've already had to consult the guide three times because the puzzles in this game are so obtuse.

If with the guide explaining to work it out I couldn't make heads or tails of the safe glypths and how to figure out which one was witch number past the four on the clock.

Don't get my started on the chest puzzle and how they stumped me at the morgue with the obtuse solution of having to find and read the file about passwords being changed before you can interact with the pad to enter the code.

There's a diagram in this walkthrough that shows you exactly what route the robot should follow.

What I found was that it was very difficult to watch the lasers for the correct moment to move at the same time as clicking the lower right direction arrows on screen with the mouse, it throws you right off having to switch attention like that.

So I temporarily used options to switch to keyboard control, then it is arrow keys to navigate, enter key to select options/buttons.

When you are back in the control room arrow keys are used to control Victoria and highlight items in the room when she is near to them, enter key to select the control panel.

Once in the control panel arrows to highlight items again and enter will be your action button to release the robot and again to make it walk to the vent and into the other room.

Once you are in control of the robot the arrow keys can be used for directing it without actually having to look at them so you can concentrate on those lasers.

Once I did this, and after a couple of practice runs, I beat the puzzle then switched back to mouse control.

Esc to get back to the journal screen, and reselect mouse again.
