can i use text hooker such as ITH with steam visual novels?

If you dig around at visual novels reddit, I think you can at least find a new version that kind of takes a screenshot of your screen and then detects text in the image. So even without hooking, you should be able to extract the text.

I think one of the limits however was that you need to find the game font to make the detection work. Can't help you there.

eh...really? do you remember the program name? that would be helpful....than manually taking screenshots with windows...

thanks. this seems promising, but how the hell are you gonna find a matching fonts for all games. there arent even database for fonts for games yets.
