Realm 19 Shade boss.

Inspected Boss. Says have to kill its minions in a certain order, but does not say what the order is. Tried a few different combinations now and getting rather frustrated.

What is the kill order? Thanks.

Otherwise, there's really a lot of methods to cracking this boss open. I used one of my favorite combos:

Set-up:
Wear a rune which causes your creatures with Multicast to cast spells one additional time.
Equip one of your faster creatures with Inner Strength.
Equip one of your slower creatures with Elemental Barrage (I didn't have one so I used Verdant Spheres for a similar effect).
Make sure said creatures can get Multicast (I used spells from other creatures, but artifacts should be good as well)
During the battle:
Ensure that your casters have Multicast.
Ensure that you cast Inner Strength, followed by the multiplicative spell gem.
This results in casting Inner Strength 1*3 + (3*1)*(3*3) times for a total of 30 times.

This should take less than one turn to set-up and should let you be just about completely invincible, one shot-ing whichever Shade you decide to attack.

This is a floor 19 boss. How much grinding goes into getting that setup for a floor 19 boss?

For that much grinding you could just level your guys to 30 or 40. Your survivability will go up just by being crazy over-leveled. At that point, you probably have a couple sources of healing and you can trial-and-error it (you need healing to get past the Deathwatch boss anyway).

They are all death type creatures. Just get a Death shield on your tank and provoke the whole fight. Even better, get a defense boosting spell gem that casts when hit and put that on the tank too.

Many of the bosses are Death creatures. Having Death Shield artifacts makes them so much easier...
