How To Slow Down Viewing?

I've finally got through all the troubles I had getting the game to start. Everything else seems to be working fine now...except: Cursor/Mouse Movement is Zooming around so very fast it makes me dizzy. Is there any setting I can use to make the viewing/camera movement smoother....and slower?

Have you done the Screen.cfg tweak?
If alredy not, open it and edit it that way:

The most important are Vsinc and Rate. First usually should be on or the game could stutter, but try out, Rate is much important to be exactly your monitor rate with a resolution of 1024x768, or the game will crash randomly.
For the mouse keep the lowes settings in game, it's still fast but it's playable at least, if you play in free view mode.

I've made it playable but the camera movement definitely is still a little fast. I've done some tweaking to my mouse cursor speed via my Mouse Controls option and that also seems to halpe a bit. The sudden and fast movement when the onscreen cursor gets to the edges is the most bothersome....but not nearly as bad as it was at first. Also, checking the option in game to use SLOW helps, too.

The classic slideshow is indeed too fast, the mouse speed option works only with the new freelook view, give it a try it's nicely done. But could occur some minor lags, try different vsinc options, on and off.

Completed the game just a little while ago. I wasn't disappointed but, for a "horror" game there really weren't any "scary" parts until the very end. As old as the game is, I'm sure I'm not spoiling it for anyone.

It's an horror story, as Lovercraft or Poe where too. Horror it's not only jump scares or gore, it's mainly creepy stuffs.
