Scratches: Director's Cut

This game does not work.
So, I encountered the fullscreen glitch that caused the game to not load properly at the beginning. I was able to find the appdata > roaming folder and change the fullscreen to 0.

Problem is, now the hit detection is off, and the fullscreen isn't stretched properly. It's cutting off the very bottom of the game and the mouse is a few inches north of what the hit detection is detecting.

What can I do? I'd like to play this game, but currently I'm not able to.

I'm running a computer with Windows 7 64 bit.

Make sure your windows display settings aren't set to scale any higher than 100% (Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display). Are you using the game's default resolution of 1024x768 (also in the config file with the fullscreen toggle)?

When you say higher than 100%, do you mean the screen resolution? My resolution with the monitor I'm using is 1176x664. It's the only resolution that can fit everything on my monitor.

I'll go check the config file to see what the information is, but I tried reloading the game and now it won't run at all.

When I was referring to scaling in my previous message I was talking about the display scaling used by Windows operating system to compensate for larger displays (I.E. scaling of screen elements / fonts / etc.) To get to this menu you'd just open up an explorer window and copy

Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display\

into the location bar- you want the slider to be at its default position or 100% scaling. Also this is of course an older game and is prone to issues if you're using a higher resolution than what it was designed to be run under (1024x768).

Another thing I suppose you could try doing is making sure you have the most current graphics drivers for your system but that probably goes without saying.

Got it running but when I Right click I can't see inventory items, makes this game unplayable, pity as I was looking forward to this, just as well I got robbed while it was only £1.99
